Dear Diary,

I still remember when I was 13 and told Maria Pia I wished we would
play doctor and nurse.

When my mom took me to the ER with a split lip, I was attended to by a
doctor and a nurse, so my wish somehow came true, albeit not exactly
the way I intended.
